ABORIGINAL ONTARIO EARLY YEARS CENTRE

The Aboriginal Early Years Centre is a place for parents, caregivers and their children to have fun and make new friends, while learning and growing together.

The Centre strives to provide for a life of quality, well being, caring and healing for our families in the community. Children up to age 6 and their parents or caregivers take part in programs and activities together, free of charge.

Programs and services include:

  • Daily family drop-in

  • Mino Meechum community kitchen

  • Parent relief

  • Monthly cultural events

  • Abinooji Circle (parent-child circle time)

  • Yoga

  • Children’s Clothing Bank

  • Information and resources for parents and caregivers about child development
