Women’s Empowerment Circle

Empowerment Circle sessions are a safe opportunity to be with other women who have experienced or are experiencing various forms of abuse in their relationships. Participants explore the impact of their relationships, help each other on their healing paths, and work towards becoming self-supporting. Traditional and mainstream approaches include ceremonies and teachings honouring womanhood.

Child care, TTC and dinner are provided. You do not have to leave the relationship to attend.

Women’s Support Group

If alcohol and/or drugs are or have been a problem in your life, you are welcome to attend this circle. This ongoing group incorporates Aboriginal and mainstream ways of healing and takes a holistic approach to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing. TTC and lunch are provided.

Mothers in Mind

Mothers in Mind is for mothers who have been affected by family violence and their children aged newborn to 4 years. The program is designed for women who have had past or current experiences of domestic violence or other trauma and find that those experiences are making parenting difficult.

Here to Help
